Worries and doubts cross my mind,
As the feelings of love are left behind.
Despite what you say, I know there's a way,
That you could try harder to keep those bad thoughts at bay.
To say that I don't love you would be a sin,
But I can't tell if your lying to me - call it a whim.
I will always love you, and hold you in my heart,
Even though we seem so far apart.
I will love you until the day I die,
For you are perfect to me, even if only to my eye.
For love that I hold for you so deep in my heart,
Is enough to shock the world - without so much as a second thought.
I will love you for a lifetime, and lifetimes past that,
And I'd give up my life for you, at a drop of a hat.
So before you wish me a good night "I love you."
Please look deep inside and make sure it's true.
Because without a second thought, I'll believe you.
So please tell me that I have no reason to suspect,
And that I have you completely, and hold my wishes with high respect.
For loving with doubts is no fun at all,
As I can't catch myself when I fall.
I hope that you catch me, as you once always did,
That your words of love-forever, wasn't just a fib.
I'll love you forever, as long as the stars shine,
So please, I beg of you!
Don't break this heart of mine..

All we can ever do, is what we think is right at the time. We can't second-guess, or feel guilt later, even if it turns out to be a wholly wrong choice--we have to make our decisions, feel confident making them, and then accept that we've done our best.
