Please sleep with me under the stars
Where life is okay
Where love has no bounds.
We'll lay our heads on the grass
And speak of the times -
Where time gets lost,
And people frayed their hears T
o the very love
We both keep so close to our hearts.
We'll speak of times of war
And times of peace
Where neather the weary heart
Or the pure heart win.
We'll speak of a time where a boy
Asked a girl to dance
And they never stopped,
Until they turned old and gray.
And as they grew weary
They sat down and could honestly say,
That they would have it no other way.
So please lay here with me,
Under the beckoning stars -
Which guide us through our stories.
The things I want to say are going to have to wait,
Because I love you so much, that if I were to speak them,
My heart will want to see you and love you,
And never leave you.
I'd climb mountains to heaven
And fight my way through the debts of hell,
To make sure you have that one smile on your face.
So please, sit with me while our hearts make
Our own love poem.
